Kirsty Tarr is the primary Physiotherapist. Kirsty qualified in 1990 and specialised in musculoskeletal physiotherapy
On Qualifying Kirsty worked in the NHS gaining experience in musculoskeletal out patients and orthopaedics. Since leaving the NHS 12 years ago Kirsty has developed Physio In Action which has continued to expanded based on its reputation for providing high standard of care.
During her time in private practice Kirsty has been involved with Aston villa ladies and Coventry city ladies football teams along with several other local sports clubs. Physio In action has also developed a close working relationship with local GP’s and Consultants
As a keen sportswoman herself Kirsty understands the frustration often caused by injury but also sees the damage which can be caused by continuing to play without effectively treating such injuries and therefore will strive to get you fit as quickly as possible. In fact her latest clinical audit (2007/2008) showed an average of 4 treatments across the whole range of conditions treated.
Physio In Action promotes a holistic approach to treatment and also has a Podiatrist, psychologist, Sports massage therapist/lifestyle coach and a therapeutic massage therapist as part of its team.
We also provide occupational health treatments to local company employees and liaise with occupational health departments to help facilitate early return to work.
